Painting Pottery

During spring break, we made a trip to the pottery painting shop in our area as we had a great coupon.  The girls LOVE painting, and we so enjoyed our morning together.

We have come so far as I still can't believe that I can manage these three painting on my own.  Daddy and the littlest stayed home as the baby would be into everything in a shop like this.

Just look at this face!  This girl, once so broken and unable to function in any environment because of her fear and anxiety, had the time of her life painting her frog!  What a miracle the Lord has done in her life!!

These two chose to paint cats, but used different color palettes.

Many days, I look at these beautiful faces and I find it hard to believe that God would bless me so! 

Now if summer would only hurry up and get here so school didn't steal them away from me so much!  😊😊

Sewing

My sweet seven year old was desperate for a sewing machine as she really wanted to create some projects for her beloved doll Cici.  For Christmas, we tried a kid machine, but it was really limiting.  It hardly worked at all, and Anna Mei was heartbroken.

So, for her birthday we asked her Grandma to buy her a real sewing machine.  It is a super basic model and didn't cost much more than the kid models did.  It works so much better though she does need help.

I don't mind helping because I will do anything to spend time with my girl, and look how happy it makes her.  Down right blessed to call this girl my daughter!

The New Donut Shop

School is out for spring break, and so we have enjoyed every single day of freedom.

Recently, we checked on the new donut shop in town and it was so much fun!

You can customize your donut to your liking, and watch them make it before your eyes.

It was also really affordable at just over $7.00 for a half dozen.  Since Ellie is not eating donuts and we had Em with us, a half dozen suited us perfectly, and we thought they were delicious.  My girls love donut dates!
