Last night, we headed with some friends to a little country church that hosted a live nativity. When we turned down the country road to the church, there were milk jug luminaries for a half a mile. It was so simple, and so beautiful.
I think our girls favorite part was the dress up station. It was manned by a dear church lady who fitted each of our girls with a costume, including wings and a tinsel halo, that they could wear while visiting the nativity. It was precious!Ellie Grace took it all in.
They had rich, hot chocolate milk, homemade cookies, and coloring sheets in the basement too.
Molly has taken to wearing these plastic glasses everywhere we go because sweet girl is the only one without a need for them. She wants glasses so badly.
The manger scene even had live animals..chickens, dogs, rabbits, sheep, and a cow.
When the girls were dressed up, we went back around to hold baby Jesus.
Could it be any sweeter?
This little princess just loved, loved her some baby Jesus. What an angel she made..
This older sweet girl of mine loved the fire, and the animals, but wanted nothing to do with an angel costume. She was all smiles sitting by the fire.
It was a beautiful night which this church says they have been hosting for over 20 years. Can't wait to go again next year.
